Searches of the Federal Register and of the scanned print record return nothing under the name.

A word before it was a name
The name reached the records long before he did. It is there in 1880, in the first year of the series. Behind the Name files Prince as an English masculine given name, taken straight from the noun, which reaches English from the Latin princeps.
It has never once left. The Social Security Administration publishes only names given to at least five babies of one sex in a year, and Prince clears that floor in all 146 annual files from 1880 through 2025.
