In June, a series of riots sparked by police raid in New York City's Greenwich Village neighborhood marked a significant turn in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
1970
First Pride March
In commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the Christopher Street Liberation Day March was held, launching an enduring global tradition.
1999
U.S. Official Recognition
President Bill Clinton became the first U.S. President to officially recognize June as Pride Month.
2015
Legalization of Same-Sex Marriage

Global Virtual Celebration
