Started back in 1962, this event has now been deemed the largest street parade in Atlantic Canada. A tradition born out of the Gold Cup and Saucer harness racing event, the Gold Cup Parade is a testament to the community’s shared love for celebration, whimsy, and friendly competition. Every year, the parade features a delightful mix of floats, marching bands, and entertainers, bringing joy and energy to the streets.
