Celebrate International Day of Peace on September 21 with a renewed commitment to peace, understanding and respect! This day is celebrated every year around the world in an effort to promote non-violence, ceasefires and general goodwill. The day was first established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981, and has since become a yearly tradition for millions of people.
