International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec. 3 is a day to celebrate the contributions, achievements and successes of people living with disabilities around the world. It was first established by the United Nations in 1992 to promote awareness and understanding for persons with disabilities, as well as their rights and interests. This is an important day to recognize that everyone can make a difference regardless of their abilities or limitations!
