Join us in honoring Libraries Remember Day - celebrate the many ways libraries make a difference in our lives!
Mark your calendars for Libraries Remember Day on Sept. 11 and join in the celebration of books, libraries and all the wonderful things they have to offer! This day was first established in 2006 as a way to honor the victims of 9/11 and remind us how important it is to never forget their sacrifice. It's an opportunity to celebrate the joys of reading, learning and exploring – something that our libraries are full of. Whether you take a trip to your local library or enjoy some quiet time with a book at home, make sure to take part in this meaningful tradition.

Reading is not only important for academic success, but it's also very beneficial for personal development. Libraries are dedicated to promoting literacy by offering free classes and workshops, as well as one-on-one tutoring sessions to help people increase their reading skills.
