Mark your calendars for December 2, because it's time to celebrate Special Education Day! This day recognizes the importance of providing education and support for individuals with disabilities. It also marks the anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which was signed into law in 1975. Thanks to this legislation, children with disabilities have access to free and appropriate public education.
