Mark your calendars for Feb. 20 and get ready to celebrate World Day of Social Justice! This day was officially recognized by the United Nations in 2007 as a way to recognize the importance of global solidarity and justice in achieving lasting peace, stability and sustainable economic growth. The day is meant to call attention to issues such as poverty, unemployment, gender inequality and human rights abuses, among others. It's also an opportunity for people around the world to come together and take action against injustice and promote social justice for all. So let's get out there and make our voices heard!
