Introduction

Get excited and show your heart some love on World Heart Day on Sept. 29! This day was created in 2000 by the World Heart Federation, to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and how to prevent it. It's an annual reminder of all the things we can do to take care of our hearts—from exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, reducing stress levels as well as visiting a doctor for regular checkups.
