We want to invite everyone to join in, learn something new, and above all, celebrate the incredible abilities and potential of those with learning disabilities. Why Learning Disability Week is Important

A

It raises awareness about learning disabilities

Learning Disability Week aims to shed light on the experiences of people with learning disabilities — on their strengths, their struggles, and the support they need. Through webinars, workshops, and social media campaigns, this event helps educate the public about learning disabilities.

B

It advocates for inclusivity

Diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of Learning Disability Week. The event encourages schools and educational institutions to create inclusive environments where everyone, regardless of their learning abilities, can thrive. It's a call to arms for anyone who believes in equal opportunities for all.

C

It inspires action

Finally, Learning Disability Week is not just about awareness — it's about action too. Whether it's volunteering at a local organization, fundraising for a related charity or advocating for policy change, this week encourages everyone to become a part of the solution and help make a difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities.
