How to Celebrate Screen Free Week

1

Host an arts and crafts day

Gather your family or friends and spend a day creating art. You can do painting, modeling clay, collage, or any medium you prefer. You'll be amazed at what your hands can create without the need for a computer, a tablet, or a phone.

2

Organize a sports event

Whether it's a big basketball game, a small badminton match, or a friendly game of frisbee in the park - active involvement in sports will keep you energized and screen-free. It's a great way to involve the community too!

3

Cook something new

Dust off that old recipe book that's been sitting on the shelf and take this chance to master a new dish. Challenge yourself not to use any digital recipes!

4

Organize a treasure hunt

Arrange an exciting treasure hunt around your neighborhood. This gets everyone out of the house, exploring the great outdoors and forgetting about their screens for a bit.

5

Organize a book club meeting

Gather your bookworm friends and spend an evening discussing your favorite books. It's a great way to engage in meaningful conversations and cultivate a healthy habit at the same time.

Why We Love Screen Free Week

A

Encourages physical activity and creativity

Screen Free Week motivates participants to engage in physical activities such as sports events or even a neighbourhood treasure hunt. It also encourages us to tap into our creative side with arts and crafts, cooking new dishes, or diving into the pages of a good book.

B

Promotes meaningful interactions

Turning off screens for a week allows us to spend more quality time with family and friends. Whether it's through a shared sports event or lively discussions at a book club meeting, Screen Free Week enables genuine interaction where all our attention is devoted to the people around us.

C

Helps rediscover the world beyond screens

In these digital times, it's all too easy to lose ourselves in the virtual world. Screen Free Week offers a refreshing break and a chance to explore and appreciate our surroundings, reigniting a sense of wonder for the world beyond the screen.
